What are the benefits of becoming a Toastmaster?
Whether you’re a professional, student, stay-at-home parent or retiree, Toastmasters is the best way to improve your communication skills. We can help you lose the fear of public speaking and learn skills that will help you be more successful in whatever path in life you’ve chosen. You’ll become a better listener. You’ll learn to lead teams and conduct meetings, and be able to give and receive constructive evaluation. If you already have some or all of these skills, you will enhance them at Toastmasters!
Become a Travelling Toastie, and meet people all over the world!
As a member of Toastmasters International, not only do you have your own great club to do speeches in, but you also have access to every other Toastmaster club in the world (over 15,000 clubs in 145 countries). There are purely online clubs that you can visit whenever you like, and if you go on holiday, or are away for work, you can look up if there is a club in the area, and as part of your membership you can go and participate in their meeting. It’s a great way to meet new people.
